Taught by Award Winning Screenwriter Josefina López, this course is intended solely for students who identify as Latino and wish to write Latino protagonists. Join Josefina for an intense one week course that will help you learn:

The basics of Screenwriting and how to get your Screenwriting career started.
How to be a professional writer and do professional work.
Practical exercises to overcome writer’s block, procrastination, self doubt and self-sabotage.
How to manifest your dreams through clearing limiting beliefs and creating powerful thoughts.
How to write a short film, and compete for a chance to get it made.

This is not your average Screenwriting Workshop!

This course will go beyond the tip of the iceberg of consciousness and look at the real reasons why human beings do what they do. These insights will help you become a writer who can generate fresh ideas and develop your authentic voice. Through in-class writing exercises students will understand themselves at a profound level, and learn how their “story” is the only story they will ever write.

By combining the skills of the craft of screenwriting and spiritual insights from several healing modalities, Josefina teaches writing in a refreshing way that provides powerful tools to turn you into the protagonist of your own story.

Josefina López, has an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA’s School of Film & TV, and her film Real Women Have Curves, won the Audience Award at Sundance in 2002. She was one of the youngest writers to be admitted to the WGA (Writers Guild of America) at 21 years old. Josefina is also an accomplished playwright, novelist, the Artistic Director of CASA 0101 Theater, a Certified Life Coach, and a Certified Past Life Regression Therapist.
